Data Deletion Request

Effective Date: 01-09-2025

At WEDO, you can request deletion of your account and personal data (name, phone number, email, and physical address). Once deleted, we will retain only what we must keep to meet legal or regulatory obligations in Bahrain.

What will be deleted

  • Profile details (name, phone, email, address)

  • In-app account and preferences

  • Booking history identifiers (we’ll anonymize records needed for audits or tax compliance)

What may be retained (temporarily or anonymized)

  • Transactional records required by law

  • Security/log data needed to prevent fraud or resolve disputes

How to submit your request

Choose one of the following:

  • In-App: Help & Support → “Data Deletion Request”

  • Email: Send to [email protected] with subject “Data Deletion Request”

  • Phone: +973 17666066 (we’ll guide you to complete a written request)

Identity verification

To protect your privacy, we verify your identity before processing. We may ask you to confirm:

  • Registered email or phone (via code), and

  • Recent booking reference or address on file

Processing timeline

  • We aim to complete deletion within 7–14 business days after verification.

  • If additional time is needed (e.g., active service bookings or legal holds), we’ll notify you.

Canceling your request

If you change your mind before deletion is finalized, reply to our confirmation email or contact support.

Submit your request (minimum details)

Please include:

  • Full name

  • Phone number on the account

  • Email on the account

  • Service address (optional, helps us find your record)

  • A statement: “I request deletion of my WEDO account and personal data.”
